Esos checkbox de Cuentas, están localizados en una conexión secundaria?
Pregunto porque cualquier información almazenada en una conexión secudaria es temporaria. Es decir, al cerrar y reabrir el formulario, esas modificaciones que el usuario ha realizado no son guardadas.

Según expliqué en tu otro mensaje, no estás explicando el paso-a-paso para darnos una idea de qué está sucediendo.
Explica por favor el paso-a-paso, es decir:
1. El usuario abre el formulario.
2. El usuario selecciona un ambiente de las opciones en el dropdown.
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
Envia el formulario? Lo abre nuevamente? De donde vienen ...

It should be possible via conditional formatting. You can disable certain fields.
You could also switch users to a read only view, based on a form value (such as my:Submitted = "TRUE").

I can achieve this in an InfoPath Filler form (See attached screenshot). However,this option is not available for browser forms.
