If you want to use the same value in later formulas, could you use the same substring-before formula? Sorry, I'm having a hard time understanding w/out a sample form.

I can only create calculated formula, whom i cannot use later on in formules (cant select it, its not in items panels)
However, i do have a way to get fields filled with that laod form rule.
But dont know how to fill a drop down box. I cant get that to work.

Oh, it's repeating, sorry, I missed that. Are you just displaying this? If so, use a calculated value for the display and use the substring-before formula there. If you attach your template under the Options tab in a reply it will be easier for me to see what's going on.

Tried that . Doesnt change a thing.
Tried it on the load form rule.

Use substring-before(fieldhere, "T")

What are the data types of these repeating fields in the list? I'm confused about the structure of this. I would think you would instead want to set these columns to just be numbers, and then you could have the form manage multiple items. There isn't going to be an easy way to know which qty should be multiplied by which amount.....

The only work around i could think of is making " as default value to a text box and us it.Any work ...

HI Hilary,
I am trying to get Quantity * Price . I am trying to get Amount (in the screen shot I filled the Amount manually). The problem is that Quantity is one repeating table, Price is another repeating table, Amount is the other repeating table.

I should have mentioned it was there - glad this got you sorted!
