I have successfully been able to call my Web Service (WCF Service using Basic HTTP Binding) programatically from Infopath 2010 using the C# code below. Note: as far as I know, the code would be the same in Infopath 2007:
public void FormEvents_Submit(object sender, SubmitEventArgs e)

It seems like this is an issue with your data connection for submitting to the form library. I think you just want the URL to the library in your submit connection, not the view. So http://servername/libraryname but skip the /Forms/AllItems.aspx stuff for your submit connection.

Can you please let us know how you solved this issue?
I'm facing the exact same problem, but I can't edit the script.js file.

no, you can have 3 forms as 3 content types but not 3 content types inside of one form, what is it you are trying to accomplish, there may be another approach that will meet your requirements

You can add the fields as a reference (there's an explanation of ...

I'm not quite sure why you're getting that error, but I did try this and it doesn't work, because the new form's view can't be changed until the event handler finishes executing.
One thing you can do is the following:
Create a new field in your template called StartingView
Add a Form Open rule that will switch the view ...

Ok, thanks Hilary, will give a try.
My IT Department , just installed Infopath on another machine where Infopath 2007 was not installed. The VSTA portion installed fine. On my own machine, will uninstall Infopath 2007 (as you suggested) and then try installing the VSTA again.
