Last » When streaming xml from browser, Infopath calls aspx page multiple times I have a simple aspx page that reads Infopath XML from a database and sends it to the client. Works fine, but I notice using Fiddler that Infopath then calls the same aspx page 5 or 6 times for the same data. Any idea why it would do this? Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 01-06-2010 Publish form over http Is there something that needs enabled on a web server before I can publish a from over http? Until now I've published to the physical file share of the web server. Looking via Fiddler I see it tries to do a LOCK and receives a 401 Unauthorized, then the same again with authentication, but receives a 403 Forbidden. Then it tries a PUT ... Isn't it better to always start with a schema though rather than just dragging controls onto the form? Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-21-2009 Re: Refreshing main data source without overwriting input fields What is the empty data source - just a schema containing the fields to be filled in? If I have a XYZ Report form, would I have a main data source for all the editable fields and a secondary data source for the read-only boilerplate stuff? Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-21-2009 Refreshing main data source without overwriting input fields I designing a form based on a web service. The web service schema has all the required fields for the form - some pre-filled with data, some for the user to fill in. The user will fill in some parts based on the existing data at the time, them some time later after more data has been added to the database ... Thanks Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-17-2009 Automatically number a repeating section It seems the list control only allows one line per number or bullet. As soon as I hit enter I get a new list item. Shift + Enter also creates a new list item. Is there some other way of allowing multiline text in an automatically numbered list style? TIA Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 09-16-2009 Re: Best way to pick multiple items from long list I changed it so the DDL was not in the repeating section. When an item is selected from the list I add the text to the a repeating section just below the DDL. Works much better. Posted to General (Forum) by Graeme on 08-27-2009 Re: Best way to pick multiple items from long list I actually want to see all the added items in a list of some sort though, not just a delimited string. So I'd want to add them to a bulleted or numbered list or a repeating section. Can't figure out how to add another item to the list - I just keep over-writing the first item.
