I have now successfully got the contact selector onto the form, and it will search the list of contacts, however when I select a contact, then click add, then OK it either just does not add any name to the To box on the form or it crashes. Posted to Controls (Forum) by moggy on 07-26-2009 How do you get the contact selector to work? I am creating my first workflow. I need to pass round a form to various people to action and then return to the person who created it to begin with. I have read the instructions for the contact selector however I cannot get it to work. When I drag the control onto the form I am prompted to select a data source, however I am only able to select ... Ah now that is better thanks Posted to Controls (Forum) by moggy on 07-23-2009 Can you add a unbound control to a database form? You can also concatenate the values of the checkboxes to a hidden field and do a comparison. There is much you can do, but we need to know your EXACT scenario and all possible permutations of the logic? [/quote] It is ... If there is a simpler way to do it I would prefer that. Looking at code samples I need a good knowledge of xPath, which is not something I have used before, so I do not understand the syntax that I need to get hold of the check ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by moggy on 07-17-2009 Using VSTA for writing custom validation This is the first application I have done in ifo path and I need to write some custom validation. I am familiar with visual studio and I know how to create the event stubbs, but I can't find any sample code as to how to access the controls on the form. I want to write something along the lines of if checkbox1 and checkbox 2 and checkbox 3 ...
