Only speaking from Infopath 2003 point of view - but you could try just having an attachment field and let the infopath form itself be the attachment and use a normal email data adapter/secondary connection.
If you need a code solution - in order to set the Outlook mail object's attachment property you may have to create a proper ...

try string values - for dates use 'yyyy-mm-dd', for boolean try 'true' 'false' (or whatever your checkbox uses for checked/unchecked values.
I'm guessing a little - never used exd.exe

Example using jScript - Repeating group is called 'rGroup'

Hi. Thanks for the replying so quickly.
I'm not sure if I understand how this works though. Here are some details after trying it out:
- The multiple-selection list box (bound to field5) gets a warning when it is not a repeating field.
- field2, field3 and field4 are irrelevant to what I want to do (I just didn't ...

I need to copy a repeating table from a secondary datasource populated from a webservice to the main form datasource using rules only (no code). The reason I need to do so is that I need to save that data in the xml form itself once the user submits the form. I am using InfoPath 2007 Form Services.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can load up the template's sampledata XML file with the following code. That should contain everything you need to figure out the structure you're looking for:
IXMLDOMDocument doc = thisXDocument.CreateDOM();
doc.load("sampledata.xml");

Here is what I am trying to do:
I have a secondary (or sometimes a primary) data source driven by a web service. There are times when the web service returns no data due to the input parameters, however I need to be able to add a ...

Hi RogerGH and welcome!
Thanks for uploading your XSN. I took a look at it. I think the problem is your schema. field5 should not be repeating. Instead, add a group4 under group3 and then put field5 under that. Group4 should be marked as repeating. Then, add an OnChange rule to each of field1, field2, field3, and field4 that sets the ...

Hi Azhilenko,
This should work if the XML is changing. If you are changing the properties using another process, it may not work. Make sure the XML Modified Date is changing. If that is changing, you should look at your workflow in SPD. We've done this before so you should be good to go, but we would have to look at your workflow and formlib ...

Hi Catharine,
Are you using InfoPath 2007 or 2010? I saw this in InfoPath 2010 about 3 months ago and I thought it was a bug. At any rate, I think you can safely ignore it since the form should work fine. The Logic Inspector is just a read-only add-on. Somehow, it's failing to process the XSF. Probably a bug in the XSLT transform that ...
