In my infopath20-03 application I have Rich Text Box.Using a web service I am retrieving values from the oracle data base.In the data base I have a text value already save from another rich text box.The value the database is saving with the HTML tags. Hi -- I know with forms that use a database as their main data source, you can add additional fields to the data source -- but only to the root node. Perhaps this is also true of forms with a Web Service as a main data source? That is an interesting result you are getting! I've attached another copy of your template -- I added a rule on the repeating group bound to the multi select list box that does effectively the same thing as your default value -- I think with both of them in place (kind of a belt and suspenders approach) the template does what you are wanting...
