Gotta be an easy answer to this ... :)

Hello, I'm somewhat new to Infopath and this is my first time to the forums.
I'm trying to get a textbox to autopopulate an ID number that will increment based on the number of forms submitted to a sharepoint library. Also, I need it to be a set number of digits, so that it will be 0001, 0002, and so on, instead of "1", ...

I set user roles to have access to the form on the differenet views. For some reason I can get the form to email the view I want to start with but when the second person (View 2) submits ...

Hi -- you can check out your form using the SharePoint Lists web service -- no code needed. You have to add a query data connection to the web service, (_vti_bin/Lists.asmx) and select the CheckOut message. Also add a data connection to the library where the XML is submitted -- for that connection, you can select the checkbox for getting info ...

Did you use the design checker to see what the errors are? We currently have browser forms published to our test sites using qRules and FilterOwssvr, and they can be opened in the browser.
EDIT: I should also mention that since qRules injects code, you'll need to admin approve your template. This is covered in the user guide.
