Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 08-02-2021 Re: text box only shows first row of result set from sql query I put a repeating table with a single column, a calculated value, and the header and borders removed at the bottom of the view in this copy of your form. I also included some info on what I did. This is the approach I'd take rather than using a formula. Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-29-2021 Re: text box only shows first row of result set from sql query So - in my sample form, I just used a repeating table to show you how a double eval works. In your form, the formula would change - feel free to attach your form to a reply if you need a hand. You can attach the form under the options tab in a reply. Does your returned data only have one column? Or are there multiple columns? Personally, I'd ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-29-2021 Re: text box only shows first row of result set from sql query I would just use a repeating section for this - is there a reason all the data needs to be in the same text box? I mean, you could use double eval for this - see attached sample. Right click the link in the heading, save the file locally. Right click the saved file, and select design to open in design mode, then you can preview. Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-28-2021 Re: One submit button that emails two views InfoPath only emails the "current" view - so whatever view the user is on when the form is submitted. Are you using the InfoPath Filler application, or are your forms filled out in a browser? If you are filling them out in the browser, you could add a third view with all the stuff you want in the email, and then when the user clicks ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-28-2021 Re: Phone Number formatting You could use substring formulas for this, I suppose - see the attached sample form. Right click the link in the post header, and select the option to save the file locally. Right click the saved file, and then select Design to open. Note - you may want to add some error handling to this, or not run the rule if the string isn't 10 chars long, ... Can you maybe attach some screenshots, or a mockup of how you want this to look? :) Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-23-2021 Re: Close Button There is no way to redirect the user when they click the Close button. But where the user is directed is based on the Source parameter in the URL - so, open a form or a new form from your library, and copy the URL out - you'll see a parameter in the URL called "Source" and it will probably point back to the library view the form was ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-19-2021 Re: Assembling Customized Packets of PDFs-Documents There is nothing out of the box in FormsViewer / qRules that would do this, I'm afraid. It would probably be possible with some kind of custom development (like a service job running on a server) - feel free to email Qdabra with details if you'd like an estimate! Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-19-2021 Re: Close Button Well - in theory, if this is a browser form, if you have a "Source" param in the URL you use to open the form, that's what the user gets returned to on form close. I seem to recall you are generally using list forms, tho - is that correct? If so, you might not have much control over this behavior.
