Hi Slava,
Have you looked at the InfoPath 2003 SDK? It includes coding samples for how to programmatically add data connections. Click on Resources on the right and browse to find the SDK. Lots of good stuff in that.

Hi CBrown00,
We provide a GetErrorCount command in qRules v2.3 that lets you get the number of required fields that have not been filled out (or fields that are invalid). You could download a free trial and have that working in 15-20 minutes. Of course, if the fields aren't required they won't add to the count so you will need to make ...

If you don't care about decentralizing access to the InfoPath form and only use InfoPath for a local laptop solution (for example) you could set up some ...

Hi Claus,
Well, if it worked fine until yesterday, and the InfoPath form didn't change, it isn't a problem with InfoPath. My guess is that SharePoint changed in some way. check out the logs on your SharePoint site. Make sure you have a license that hasn't expired, etc.
Good luck slaying the SharePoint dragon,

Hi BlueBen,
InfoPath 2007 ships with a people picker control. Have you tried using that? It should be based on Outlook's Global Address List (GAL) and not require SharePoint.
If the out-of-box people picker doesn't work for you (because you need to select multiple people, etc.), you may want to look at Qdabra's Zero-ActiveX Contact ...
