Hilary,
This seems to be designed to work for a List. Do you know of a way to do the same for an XML file?
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Patrick,
Sorry, actually I interpreted this funcionlity wrong. The success/failure messages in Advanced section of submit options are displayed after the form is submitted. I was expecting it to display custom error message if there are validation errors or invalid data in field controls.
The custom error message would get ...

Mel,
Thanks for the response... I tried doing what you have, but I think the problem is that my repeating table is auto-filled in text boxes don't update appropriately inside of these tables unless each list item is manually added. I've tried all kinds of preceding counts and nothing has worked because of this problem ...

Thanks Patrick for your contribution.
My form is based on SQL Server and Infopath forces me to use the data structure that it generates. This data structure is built on attributes so I don't have a choice.
This is just a particular case. What I wanted to know is the way to navigate through the same line in a repeating table. I ...

Hi RMSPhoto,
There's no way to filter out duplicates in the double eval. You may be able to filter them out in the form though by creating a separate hidden repeater that you set with the values of the first one. In addition, I'd add ...

Hi JWebster1979,
You'd have to write code to do this. After 7 years of providing answers for code and other things, we simplified our response and provide a free trial of qRules for people. qRules is a common library that handles the top 50 commonly asked for features in InfoPath that require code, including your request. Here's the ...

Hey theF10man,
I love F10 myself especially when typing in Japanese.
To answer your question, we don't support code from other sites. Instead, we provide qRules which supports sorting and a boat load of other commands that would require code. qRules trial is free and if it works for you we only ask that you donate a little to help us keep ...

Hi Josera,
First of all, it seems you are using attributes and not fields. Why is that? Why not use fields instead? Might make it easier to reference.
To calculate Week of the Year, you should be able to do this with xpath: just subtract out the value for the beginning of the year and divide by seven. If the value is greater than 52, you can ...
