Hi Gus,
I would propose checking two things:
1. When the form is published, do any errors come up, or does the form publish without issues?
2. If you set up another qRules command, it can be a simple one, such as GenerateGuid, does it work in the browser?
The two points above should give us a better idea of where to look next.
Thanks.
I can't seem to create controls unless they come from the database. Is this a limitation of the product?
Correct. That's the main limitation. And it's a big one. Your form's schema is not modifiable unless you first modify the database.
Databased forms are bound to the ...

Hi,
What you're describing should work. Since you have a scenario set up and a form, perhaps it would be best to send us email via support at qdabra dot com and include the form so that we can take a look at your implementation and identify any potential issues.
Thanks.

Hi,
Since this question appears to be related to DBXL, I have replied on the other post you created.
Thanks.

Hi Jean Carlo,
Thanks for trying out Qdabra's DBXL.
Have you tried out the Getting Started tutorial?

We also have some free training available here:

Hi-
It looks like InfoPath is reading this as a literal string:
ChangeSubmitUrl /submit=SharePoint Library Submit /url=http://<site location>/my:dept
And not as a formula.
To have InfoPath use this as a formula, you'll need to click fx when setting the value of the field to get the Formula screen. Then you can use the concat function ...

Hi Michael,
Which version of .NET Framework is installed?
I don't believe that uninstalling/reinstalling qRules will make a difference. The problem is with forms with code, which is why you're seeing the error about .NET Framework. Perhaps you could try to repair .NET Framework?
-
Hi Michael,
This form uses code and due to that uses Microsoft .NET Framework. Could you check whether this is installed on your computer?
Thank you.

Hi Michael,
Two possibilities for this error:
1. Make sure all InfoPath processes are stopped. That is, close any running instance of InfoPath, as well as opening task manager to make sure no pesky InfoPath process is still running. Then retry.
2. Make sure to run the command prompt as admin (right click > Run As Admin).
Let me know if ...

Hi Michael,
That message suggests that the form needs to be installed. The mapping tool must be installed per the instructions in the installation guide. Let me know if you have any trouble with the steps.
Since you're on v4.0, it might be worth upgrading to v4.3, since mapping to a list became easier in these recent versions.
Thanks.
