On SharePoint Online, we can't increase this limit. So the form has to be modified to not return all the data from any list or library with greater than 5,000 items. The first thing I usually do is look at all the data connections and see which ones are set to run on form open - any one of those could be your trouble. Find any SharePoint list ...

I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to InfoPath and I really need some help with this one. I just started this role a few months ago and inherited a lot of InfoPath forms that I did not design.
I know that this error is due to a data connection pulling too much data. I can see that the form has several data connections to other ...

Hi, I have been tasked with migrating InfoPath 2007 browser-enabled Admin-Approval forms with lots of code behind to InfoPath 2013 which was hosted on SharePoint 2007 and must be migrated to SharePoint 2016. To fix this problem, contact the form designer. Since the form is 10+ years old, the certificate is definitely expired. I ...

I wonder what the compatibility level of your old form is - is it 2007? Or perhaps the data connections are still 2007? Send it to me if you'd like me to take a quick look. Not sure if that's the exact error we see, but I do know that FV doesn't work with 2007 style list connections so that may be it. In which case you could save your ...

I have an old application-based form that I'm just trying to archive as a FV form so we can get to the data when InfoPath finally gives up the ghost. It has 3 data connections that load when the form is open (from SharePoint lists), but as a web-based FormsViewer form, I'm getting this error: Query Failed: An error occurred querying the ...

Old question, but I recently ran into this issue and while this did not resolve my issue it pointed me in the correct direction. Someone modified the "All Documents" view for the FormServerTemplates library with a filter. My form template was not available in that view. By eliminating the filter on the "All Documents" View ...
