Is this a SharePoint List form? Maybe you could use a rich text field instead?
-
This is odd - but I do see a lot of things work in filler / preview and fail in the browser. What if you try without switching the views? You don't have to put the query field on the form - you can just hide the reference number field if it is blank. Another thing worth trying might be to set postback to "always" on the button ...

Yeah - this is the tough part, unfortunately. You can promote those repeating fields and merge them - that will give you semi-colon delimited items in each column. But in order to actually flatten the data out, you may need a third party tool. DBXL can be used to write your data to SQL, whereupon you can use Access or Excel or other ...

Hmmm - so the sections will be in the main data source instead of a secondary data source? They won't be repeating, right - since this is a list form? So you'd have a column for each month and the user only fills out those that pertain?
-
Wonderful, glad you got it sorted!

I'm not sure what your desired outcome is, but here is a sample that displays the month range for two selected dates, leveraging an XML secondary data source. Save the attached file locally, right click to select design, then preview and select a start and end date for the range.

What happens if you try to query the data connection w/out using the Refresh command? Just put a button on the form that executes that query? Same error, or does the query run?

What's the URL you are using? Does it have noredirect=true? Is this in the filler?

Add a condition to hide the section based on the user name. It might be simplest if you set a form field to the current user's name each time the form is opened - then you can use the condition builder UI to select the field and enter the user name you wish to apply the formatting for.

I did! Thanks for letting me know - I removed it.
