Hi Ken, I'd have to research why the button is not there, separately, I assume it is by design, though.
I don't ever ever use the Save and Save As buttons in my forms, though. Here's what I typically do in order to achieve what you're trying to accomplish:
Create a field in your form's data source called ...

Thanks for getting back so quicky Patrick.
Could you elaborate a bit further in terms of how can I check if the previous rule failed or not?

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the reply. I've set the fields to read only... but they still change when the form loads, even after it's been submitted to the library.
The code we use to pull back the AD properties is in the 'form load' section (see above).
Should I use some code at this point to say 'If code is in here, do ...

I went through my emails with Mel about this issue and I'm sorry to say that I didn't write down what the exact solution was, but I remember having that "duh" feeling that comes with not following directions exactly. I may have renamed something, so watch out for that.
Best of luck,
Nancy

Hi everyone,
I would be glad if someone can help me with this. We have really hit a road block with this one in the middle of implementation and my thoughts are getting dry now.
The requirement is to implement an Infopath 2007 browser-enabled form without any custom code. This form is published as template to a sharepoint forms ...

Under Form Options, Browser, I have "Show toolbar at top of form", "Show toolbar at bottom of form", "Save", "Save As" and "Print View" all checked.
On the Open and Save tab, I have all the features enabled, (including "Save and Save As").
After I publish as ...
