I have solved all my errors, but still cant close the form. I am not user browser form, so i need to close the IP app when submit is clicked. I have found many posts, but none of them seemed to work, maybe I was missing something. I am using vb with a butn click to submit form to SP library.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

Of course, because the value of "today" changes each day. You need to have a field in your form that has this formula for a default, then use that field for the filename.

 This might not be the only way to do it, but I've attached an example which does what you describe. Hope it helps.
