Yes, InfoPath 2010, creating a 2007 compatible "Filler" template, publishing the first form to a SharePoint 2007 install. When I promoted the properties, I created new columns in my library for all the fields -- is that what you did as well?

I promote it by going to File > Form Options, then into Property Promotion and Add "Address". Furthermore, upon choosing the Publish location, I verify that "Address" is listed in Column Name. I hope this answers your question.
And you're doing this with a 2007 template, but within InfoPath 2010?

Okee doke. I'm trying to follow the steps in your first post -- when you promoted Address, did the field default to a site column group for you? It did for me, so I changed it to create a new column in the library. As you can see from my screenshot, I have both columns available.

You can manually modify the XPath for the repeating group in the mapping.xml. Change this:

I asked this in a different way already and was told basically that I should make sure all the controls have exactly the same setup. Well, I cut and pasted from the first one, so they are all the same. Yet, when I preview and fill in the first one, some of the others expand as they're supposed to, but others don't. What ...

Please don't confuse my test case with an actual production scenario. My repro steps I provided are to see if others are able to mimic the issue I am having with two production forms. In my production forms, there is only one Address field called "Address". The second of the two production forms does not show ...

In your initial description, you state that you created a form that has 3 fields in it -- one named "Address" and one named "ADDRESS" -- I'm wondering if you still have this issue if in your form that you are creating a data connection to you give those fields distinct names (i.e. different in more than case). Again, this ...

No - this test is about functionality. Currently I have two existing forms (Form1 and Form2), where Form1 contains building and address information, and Form2 is trying to pull that data in. Form2 cannot see "Address" from Form1.

Kind of behaving as if something is not case sensitive (which is weird, it should be case sensitive, dealing with XML). Is there a reason you need two fields with the same name and different casing?
