Hi B_man,
Welcome to the board! You can definitely do the 3 bullets, but I don't have any random snippets hanging around for copy/paste. You can also call code to do an XSL apply before sending Word the xml, but why use Word?

Hi Ashwin,
Welcome to the board. InfoPath SP1 supports .NET so you should be able to just create a .NET project for infopath and cut and paste the code in to a method in the FormCode.cs file and call it from OnLoad or from some OnClick handler. Should be pretty easy.
As for the dates, I don't quite understand why the dropdown has the current ...

No idea and sorry for the huge delay!

Hi Matt,
Welcome to the board! You can write code to do custom SQL queries to get the data you need. The SDK contains info on how to execute SQL Commands from InfoPath code. This will probably take you a couple hours to figure out. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Hi T,
Welcome!
You can certainly write code to do an xsl apply in the OnSave event. Also, using Import, you could do an xsl apply on load. Not sure if this completely helps you. It's just code. It's doable, but will require some finagling.
Good luck!

Hi Gill!
Welcome to the board!
1. yes, you can use code to do this.
2. yes, again. you can do conditional visibility I think.
Good luck,

Try using an OnClick event handler and see if that works. Not sure why OnAfterChange wouldn't work, but it's possible it's because the DOM hasn't been updated.

Hi again,
You need to buy our book and read chapter 8. ;) This is actually a rather involved topic, but short answer is that you'll need to change your security or give the form greater permissions or change the code to do something that doesn't require full trust.
Good luck!

Hi Yeow,
Welcome to the board. I think Greg's example shows how to do this. You'll have to pass a handle to the form you load so that you can communicate back to the original form. Please look for the example of forms communicating.
Good luck!

No problem. Just use ImportFile. This is covered in the SDK.
