• Re: "invalid date/time" with SubmitToSharePointList

I'm happy to give that a try. I've seen the Date template before and I'm familiar with the substring-before and -after functions. What I don't quite get is what you actually did: Convert the date into a string, the time into a string, concatenate and submit that result? Anything between date and time? A blank? A ...

  • Re: Theme colors as background fill

Hi Jo-Anne, Thanks for your reply. Are you aware of any way to modify the IP styles? In Word or Excel, I can create my own styles. They will also adjust to the current theme. In InfoPath I have not found an option to do the same. All I seem to be able is to apply the out-of-the-box styles. Also, when I use the blank Forms Library form ...

  • Re: "invalid date/time" with SubmitToSharePointList

Hi Jo-Anne, Thanks for your reply. The SharePoint column needs to be a date/time column, since other things (views, DVWPs, calculations, etc.) depend on the values in that column. Also, I can't just change the data type in the existing list. If I want to retain the column name, I would need to delete the column and create it again as a text ...

  • Re: Theme colors as background fill

Hello Jo-Anne, I used the "Shading" command in the Table tools ribbon. Are you suggesting there may be different behaviors depending on which method was used to color the cell fill? It wouldn't surprise me. There are many inconsistencies between the different MS Office products and the behaviors of seemingly identical ...

  • "invalid date/time" with SubmitToSharePointList

Hello, InfoPath 2010, SP 2010, qRules trial downloaded last week, so should be 4.1 I have a form with two date/time fields and a few text fields. As long as I only fill in the text fields, the data will submit into SharePoint fine. When I have values in the date/time fields, though, I get an error: Errors occurred submitting to list: ...

  • Theme colors as background fill

Hello, I'm relatively new to InfoPath, and maybe I'm just working with wrong assumptions. InfoPath 2010 I have a table. I use the color picker to give it a background shading. I pick one of the theme colors, say the "Accent 1". In the current theme, Accent 1 is, say, red. Now I go and change the theme via "Page Design ...

  • Re: SubmitToSharepointList and a Security Exception

Hey Jo-Anne, I was just trying this out when your message came in. It is working now, Yay! One question: I still have the Command, Result, Success, and Error nodes in the form. The Success node is ticked, but the Command node is empty. Shouldn't the Command field show the command that was submitted? Maybe I made a mistake setting it up. ...

  • Re: SubmitToSharepointList and a Security Exception

Hello, I'm running into the same problem as described above. I downloaded and installed qRules on the afternoon of Friday, 13th, New Zeland time. Maybe not a good date to install software :) The preview works, but the form on the server doesn't. Action: SubmitToSharePointList. Arguments: submit: ShPSubmit mapping: mapping ...
