I have managed to create a rule for if the user deletes the entry no result is shown but I cannot suss out how to get the final figure to update if they change ...

I have tried it with a drop-down field and a text field and neither works. Disabled the rule but it still isn't working. Really appreciate your help.

Hi Jo-Anne Thanks very much for replying. The Category and Sub-Category drop downs are working ok. Not sure exactly what I did but I think in the Control Properties of Sub-Category I looked for data from an external source. I have tried doing this again and applying rules to the Contacts field but neither works when I add a filter. Karen

That's great thanks. Any idea regarding check boxes? If a check box is marked then a rule goes off an does some calculations, if they then untick the box the total does not update (deduct the calculation).  Thanks, really appreciate your help.

Hi Thanks for your response. Yes that is ticked but some of the calculations work on rules rather than directly in the control properties. Thanks Karen
