Thanks Alot Hilary, Yes the text was in xml. I added a rule in the form load to change the text and is working as i wanted.

Don't forget to keep the control in a section, so when you add the control in the new form, it shows up in  its own section. You can make an new ActiveX Control also. I can explain that if you need. But see if this solves your problem or not. If not, I'll explain the Custom ActiveX Control

You can do this by making a new form template and saving that template after applying all the rules to the button. First I would create the data connection to the webservice you wish to use.  Once that was done, I would insert a button and create rules to call the web service and perform the action desired. Then I would save the whole thing as an XTP that can be added into any form.  Hope that helps
