• Re: Apend values from multiple checkboxes to email subject line?

Hmm,   OK, I got everything setup like you instructed, but I am getting validation errors when trying to submit:  InfoPath cannot submit the form. The form cannot be submitted because it contains validation errors. Errors are marked with either a red asterisk (required fields) or a red, dashed border (invalid values). If I go into ...

  • Locking fields after submitting

We just moved from MOSS 2007 to Sharepoint 2010, but it was a clean install not an upgrade.  I also rebuilt a form in 2010 that I built originally in 2007 years earlier. My issue with the new form is that at the top of the form I have a few text boxes that pre-render from a Sharepoint Web Service (Name, Title, Department, etc).  ...

  • Re: switch to edit mode on button click

wow, some really good info in here, thanks a bunch! So over the last day I've been working on getting this to work, and I think I'm almost there. To simplify things, I created a new form from scratch and followed the steps outlined in the link you gave. Unfortunately, u2u doesnt work with SP2010, so it took me some time to get all of the ...

  • Re: SharePoint 2007 and InfoPath 2010 integration

Hi, I am currently starting to use Sharepoint 2010 Foundation, and I want to utilize Infopath 2010 to make forms for my employees to fill out.  If I'm reading the book I'm using correctly, I can't have anyone fill out a form created in Infopath unless they have Infopath on their computer? (because we don't have Sharepoint ...

  • Re: Can you add a rule to "Submit" action?
What is the command to concatenate values so when one clicks the submit button it will always stay hidden? I have "concat(Field, "1")" and even tried "sum(Field) + 1". Does not work.
I'm afraid I don't understand your scenario, but the function for concatenation ...

  • Re: Can you add a rule to "Submit" action?

Your the man! That attachment really helped. I didn't realize that you can use "set a field's value:" to an email address. I thought you had to use the "Email" action to accomplish this. The reason for the rules was so the submit button would always be hidden when clicked. My sequence for ...

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. What would need to run periodically?

  • Re: GetErrorCount command

Hi Gabriela, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this command. Would you be willing to attach the form? (under the Options tab when replying) I would need to take a look at the implementation of the command to figure out what could be going on. Thanks.

Hi ErnestoM: Thanks so much for your response.  DBXL looks interesting - especially if we could set it up to run periodically.  Is it often used in that way?
