Quite simply - I want to record a few fields for each record (Name, Position, Room #) .. and then for each person I want to be able to allow the user to add a date and check a checkbox as to whether the person was present on this day.
Formatting aside - I can't even figure out how you'd represent this data relationship in the data ...

I need to populate descriptions for certain fields dependant on a selection from a drop down menu. I want all these descriptions stored in xml docs so they can be changed very easily. Hi - just wanted to post that we've gotten your forms, I've found & fixed the qRules injector issue that sometimes caused that data connection to have an incorrect path - that fix will be in qRules 3.3. To avoid that issue in previous versions of qRules, inject your browser form prior to publishing to SharePoint.

Great feedback - thanks!

And if a form has been published to SharePoint, you should be able to just change the publishUrl, which I see you are doing a line down. So perhaps wrap the bit setting xsf2:share/@path in an if? If this were C#, I'd do something like:
XPathNavigator ...

Hello all. Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I am new to the whole world of sharepoint and infopath.
I'm trying to create an infopath form with a dropdown list whose values come from a datasource. The datasource is a list in a sharepoint site. I have managed to do this, and the values are showing up. ...

Thanks for having a look Hilary :-) I will have to add an instruction that it expects to work with network drive published forms.
Sharepoint or other types of form template I am not familiar with unfortunately.
Your suggestions are exactly what I am looking for - I will definitely fix the file extension being added if user does not provide ...
