Are your dropdown options hardcoded in the control? Or are they in a secondary data source?
-
Hi! I'm sorry to tell you - but no. If you disable a drop down, it becomes hard to read. Can you just use a calculated value in that view instead?
-
Hi again - so this property doesn't get set in browser forms, unfortunately. I know when we first worked on making qRules browser compatible, this was something we investigated - and it appears that InfoPath Forms Services doesn't actually set that property in the object model when the form is opened in the browser. The only work around ...

Great news, I'm glad you have it working. One thing - if you haven't tried it in the browser yet, be sure to set postback to always on any buttons / controls that execute qRules commands (under the control properties, under the browser tab).

There isn't anything in qRules that I can think of that would do this. InfoPath and Excel are two very different creatures. I don't think you could create a custom control for this for a browser form.... maybe? I wonder about using Excel Services as a REST connection and sending this as a value to a spreadsheet - if Excel REST would return ...

So, when I talk about the form needing to have a repeating schema to be able to manage multiple items, I mean you need to start from InfoPath, select SharePoint list form, select your existing list, and then check the box that indicates you'll be managing multiple items in the form. I've attached a screenshot that shows your form's ...

I see - you'll have to relink the forms, I'm afraid, in the relink view. I thought you just needed promoted properties updated.

I don't think this will work with SharePoint Online. You'll probably need to take another approach. One thing that I've seen work is to open the library in Explorer view, select all the files, copy them, and paste them into a local folder. For some reason, this updates the promoted properties without changing the modified date / ...

One thing that will help you is if you put the QdabraRules ExecutionHistory repeating History group on your form while doing your initial development work. Then you can see the results of these concat formulas. I would not use that default in the form name field - instead, in the rule where you set the field, translate the now() function to remove ...

This form doesn't seem to have a repeating schema, which I'd expect if set up for multiple entries? Are you certain you attached the correct copy?
