Wow. I wish I would have read this thread about an hour ago. Would have saved an hour of hair pulling.

Can you try to repair the Office installation on your tester's machine? The control should be included and registered correctly for anyone with Office but maybe it didn't install it correctly because the tester doesn't have full permissions to install it on his/her machine.

Google translation: "please how to open a link on the same window on a webpart infopath published on a SharePoint server."
English reply: can you add a separate InfoPath web part and use web part connections to send data to it? If you need to open a separate window (not same), Qdabra's qRules v3.3 has a command in it to do that.

Well, you can add a bunch of rows to your form via Default Values and configure to have them hide if they don't contain data. Then, your one click will set them and the conditional formatting will unhide them. Just thinking off the top of my head here ...

Hi Chris,
I would look at the conditions in your workflow and make sure the logic is correct (i.e. you're using AND instead of OR, etc.). Other than that quick suggestion, I think we'd have to see the actual workflow and debug it but that takes time and will require a support ticket. Let me know if you'd like to go to the Qdabra ...

Hi Louis,
As long as you have the row already created you can definitely use a button to populate but it will require setting a value with an index and that isn't supported in the browser. So, we created a command in our qRules library of common commands called SetValue which lets you do this and even has cool filtering capabilities. ...

SharePoint List forms are quite limited. For example, you can't add radio buttons to your form. I recommend creating a full blown InfoPath Form and using Qdabra's qRules to submit it to a list. Your life will not be so limited but being creative does take time. :)

Hi Charles,
I recommend repairing it, or if that is impossible, try reinstalling. Obviously, we don't provide generic Tier 1 support for Visual Studio in this forum, so your best bet if those ideas don't bear fruit is to call Microsoft Support. Once you pay the obligatory fee, they are very helpful.
Cheers!

Hi Derek,
Sorry to say but I'm 99% sure this isn't supported. You can set a text limit to fields such that when the limit is reached it automatically accepts the input but that does require a finite limit.
InfoPath uses Internet Explorer's canvas (Trident) to display data. You could add code to trap the window events at a low level ...

Hi kmhaga03 and welcome,
It looks like your list box is displaying HTML text which will complicate things. To select a value in a list box, you just set the value of the list box to the value you want to select. In this case, you would add a set value rule to do this for the <div>Soldiers ... line. Not hard to do after the data is queried. ...
