As I already said, if you are adding nodes to the data source correctly, you don't need to do anything to refresh the table. It will refresh on its own.
Could you attach a screenshot of your secondary data source and paste your code that is adding the new nodes?

Hilary you are always a genius.
Looks like the method of creating the hyperlink control changed between versions of InfoPath so I was not creating it correctly. Using the method described (after seeing the example) I was, and should now continue to be, able to get the link correctly appearing in the final format.
Thank you for your quick ...

This worked for me:
Try setting the width of each individual control to a fixed pixel length, rather than allowing them to auto-size (100%) to the cell. There's still a couple of controls where even this won't work, like the date picker. I had the same issue and this was the fix.

Let's assume each node in data source has elements 'Last Name' , 'First Name', 'Postal, 'Country' and 'City'. That XML is connected with Repating Table to display data, but only three values from xml doc are displayed (last name, first name and city). There is also another column in that repeating table, ...

Could you describe more specifically what the 5 textboxes + button do? In what way are they adding new nodes to the secondary data source? If you have code that's adding new elements to a repeating group, they should show automatically without some sort of manual refresh.

Another thing on the form is a set of 5 ...

Hi:
Are you talking about the text box in your form that is labelled "Link"? It is not a hyperlink control. I've added one for you (from the Insert tab on the Ribbon in IP 2010) using the qRulesLink field for the address and the qRulesFilename field for the display.
Save the attached form locally and right click the saved file to ...

I have developed a new form (been a few months since i needed one and have upgraded to Office 2010 since). Infopath seems to work and I have everything built as I have in the past. I uploaded the template to SharePoint, activeated it to my document library as I have in the past.
The form opens, is populated and sends its emails as it ...

I did a little web search - it looks as if VSTA may be available for all Office products, not just InfoPath - you're on 2007, and I'm not sure if the article I saw was just for 2010 - but it looks like you could in the install select .NET Programability support for all the different Office products. They you could use C# for Excel too, ...

My guess would be that you haven't changed the XPath in the code to the XPath for the field you created in your form - but really, you should run your project in debug so you can see what's going on. Here's a blog post that describes how to do that.
