Looks like this is another bug MS needs to fix in 2010.

I found one hotfix link from MS, doesn't help me but for reference for others. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925429/

My problem got resolved by the solution provided above which stat to replace "col span width" with <td style="Width > attribute.

    Hello @ll,

    i`ve the same issue in a InfoPath 2007-Form on a MOSS 2007.

Setting all Controls to 100% or 99% or a fixed width in px doesn`t solve it!

Have anyone tried this in InfoPath 2010 or find another solution in 2007?

    Edit:
If you open the mail/formular in outlook, you can click on Actions -> Other Actions -> "View in Browser" to get a *.mht-File shown in your Browser. This view is very fine. Maybe this is an workaround for anyone... i've to look for an solution directly in Outlook!

    Edit2:
I created a 2nd view and put all controls in a layout-table with a fixed width and publish the Form with InfoPath 2010.
The same error occured... solution is still needed ;)

    This worked for me:

Try setting the width of each individual control to a fixed pixel length, rather than allowing them to auto-size (100%) to the cell. There's still a couple of controls where even this won't work, like the date picker. I had the same issue and this was the fix.

I am using infopath designer 2010 with a MOSS 2007 server.  Thanks.

Re: Layout bug in email sent from infopath form in browser

I am experiencing this same problem.  infopath 2010 submitting to Sharepoint 2010 forms library but also using an email data connection to email the form before submitting to the forms library.  The emailed version of the form has very wide columns that don't match the look of the form in Infopath or in the browser when its being filled out.

As per the previous suggestion, I have set the width of all columns to be a specific pixel value, not set to auto-adjust to the size of the content.

     Any help would be appreciated.
