Hi suehernandez,
And thanks for the quick reply. The objective is actually the requirement I have to fulfill. All forms must exist as single forms and a single form but also exist as a composite - a single form. They do have similar and related fields and would share resource files.
I have considered this brute force method, but its as just as ...

OK I haven't tried this yet, but here's what I think you would need to do, if you TRULY must have duplicate information, which is not always best (you could always do a "Roll-Up" using a 3rd party tool or maybe the Content Query Web Part).
Create a field, call it FileName
Create a rule on Form Opening, that populates the ...

Sorry for the delay in replying. Although you can't specifically set permissions on a view, what you CAN do is to "manually" work with views.
Basically:
Remove the ability to switch views using the toolbar on the top (Tools --> Form Options)
Add buttons to your form to switch to the right views

You might be able to do this via a brute force method. It will still be a lot of manual labor. NOTE: I haven't tried this yet.

I am trying to install DBXL on a Windows 2008 R2 Standard x64 server.
I am not sure what setup.exe version Justin downloaded.

I am logged into the server as the Domain Administrator. I am using SQL authentication and using the sa account. Also the Domain Administrator is a member of the DbxlAdmins group.

Hi Larry,
The other thing I can think of is SQL permissions. The account of the user installing DBXL will be used to connect and create the database and thus requires sysadmin permission. Can you verify that the account you are using to execute the installer and the Network Service (or the account you are selecting for DBXL) have administrative ...

Hi,
I'm doing some prototyping on how I can develop connected infopath forms that utilize various features of infopath including managed C# code. I've created two forms:
1. Retrieves a list of customers from a LOB System via a BCS External Content type and populates a repeating table; allowing the user to click a Radio Button in order ...

I have a InfoPath 2010 Form that resides inside of SharePoint 2010 as a web-part. So the form does a simple query against a SharePoint List and it works great outside of SharePoint, BUT inside SharePoint the form loads all the contents of the list (3000 items) onto the page and takes 2 minutes for it to render...
I already have the data ...

Sorry about that vague description. I meant setting the color palette in the form library. Can that be done? I played around and know how to set it in the form view (which is pretty cool). If not, then I guess the only way is, like you said, promote a field. I would assign a rule that when the user clicks submit, the set field’s value would be ...
