Submit one form to two different SharePoint sites

I have a bunch of SharePoint 2010 subsites for a bunch of various users around the country on my main SharePoint site 1. In each of these subsites I would like to publish the same form. When a user submits the form into the library on site 1 I would like for that form to also be sent/submitted to another library on my internal main SharePoint site 2. Each user has access to their submitted forms in their form library for their own reference. But I want my accounting department to be able to access all of their forms in one place instead of having to check each users form library. I don't know if it is possible to have the form automatically submitted to two libraries at the same time let alone two different sites at the same time. Would the best option be to create a workflow that takes the newly created form and also submits it to the other form library? Thanks in advance for any help.

OK I haven't tried this yet, but here's what I think you would need to do, if you TRULY must have duplicate information, which is not always best (you could always do a "Roll-Up" using a 3rd party tool or maybe the Content Query Web Part).

    • Create a field, call it FileName
    • Create a rule on Form Opening, that populates the File Name with a name on the Condition that the FileName field is blank
      • Maybe use the userName() function with the now() function.  Example:  concat("My Form - ", userName(), " - ", now())
    • Create 2 Submit Data Connections.  Point one to your first site, point the other to your second site.  Use the FileName field for both of the submit connections for setting the name of the file.
    • Remove the Toolbar options to Submit, Save, and Save As (Tools --> Form Options)
    • Create a Button on the form and name it "Submit" or something like that
    • Set 3 rules on the Button - 1 is the submit to your first connection, and the 2nd rule is the submit to your second connection, and the 3rd is to close the form (optional but useful usually).
      • Make sure that the checkbox "Stop processing rules when this rule finishes" is NOT checked

Again, as stated above, the best would be to NOT have the same information stored in 2 places, whether by using this method or by using Workflows.  Play around with the Content Query Web Part and see if it meets your needs.  If not, Bamboo Solutions and CorasWorks both are 3rd party tools that allow you to "Roll Up" information from ANY site on any site collection into one place.
