Your screenshots of your sample form aren't showing. But I would put a button that simply executes the query on the form, as well as the query fields, and the data fields as well so I can see the result - then I would test ... If so, care to update with details? Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-18-2016 Re: Retrieve Repeating Section into InfoPath 2013 form w/NoCode? This is why I am suggesting using a single list. But if you have to have two, you can find samples of parent child stuff online - http://www.sharepointhillbilly.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=26 is one example. You could use CAML to submit back to your list - without code I find it clunky because you generally end up submitting one row ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-18-2016 re: Check that Form Out (or in) Automatically! Shruti - I'd put the data connection query & data fields onto the form and add a button that executes the query to troubleshoot. You may want to start a new forum thread and attach your form to make it easier for someone to help you. You want to use e.Source to select the current repeating node. https://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/microsoft.office.infopath.clickedeventargs.source.aspx Probably: string cancelledreason = e.Source.SelectSingleNode("ns1:CancelledReason", ... When you say dynamically create new fields as the list grows - are you talking about a change in the number of columns? Or just rows? If you are trying to also handle for column changes, you are going to have quite a time in InfoPath. It sounds like you just need some parent / child solution for your lists? Is that a good interpretation of what ... In a field? The "." stands for the current node, so I'd guess instead of the dot after eval(eval( you need to pick the actual repeating node bound to the list box. Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-18-2016 Re: Retrieve Repeating Section into InfoPath 2013 form w/NoCode? Hi - I'm sorry, I'm a little confused by the description - but it is not simple out of the box to copy repeating data into an InfoPath form, as you are seeing. The only no code option I know of is to use default data - basically, you add as many rows by default as you'll ever think you'll need, then you use rules to populate ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-18-2016 Re: add Date stamp to a field when an attachment is added. Hi - just add another field (it doesn't have to be on your form if you don't want it to be) and put a rule on the attachment field to set it - see attached sample. Save the linked file locally, right click and select Design to open in design mode - then you can preview to check it out.
