Pulling values for a multiple-selection list box from a secondary data source (Access table) and writing selected values to primary data source (Another Access table)

Brand new to InfoPath 2013 with limited experience with Access.  As subject says.  I have an Access DB and I'm developing a form for my team to use to input data.  I would like the form to pull from my Access DB a list of the team member's names which I have in a table (TEAM_MEMBERS), provide a MSLP for one of the team members to use and select from the list of team members, then populate who they selected in another table (SURVEY_EVENT) as a single, semi-colon seperated, value of who was selected in the same Access DB once they submit the form.

As it stands now, I have it working to the point where when I preview the form and select from the MSLP, only 1 of the values populates into the SURVEY_EVENT table. Trying to figure out what rule or logic needs to be used in order for all of the selections in the MPLS to populate the SURVEY_EVENT table row, not just 1 of the selections.

Sifting through the other threads on the forum, I pieced together the following rule into the MPLS control.

     eval(eval(., 'concat(., ";")'), "..")

What am I missing?  Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Where are you using this? In a field? The "." stands for the current node, so I'd guess instead of the dot after eval(eval( you need to pick the actual repeating node bound to the list box.

Sorry I should have been more specific.  I have a "Action" rule on the MSLB control to "Set the field's value" with the Field: in the Primary data source's Access Table with the Value: eval(eval(., 'concat(., ";")'), "..")  .  When I put in the field in the formula, it gives me the "." you referenced. This rule partly works, however it only sets the Primary data sources' table field with one of the selections from the MSLB that is selected.  I need the field to be set with all of the selections that are chosen in the MSLB.

Is this the correct way to do this? Is there a better way?  Thanks!!

Yeah, instead of using a rule on the field bound to the list box, I'd put the rule in my submit rules or use a default value in the field where I am trying to store this information.

Putting the rule in the submit action solved it.  Really appreciate the assistance!
