HI,
I had a task to include 100's of region names as checkboxes in few optional sections of infopath form. This would be a mess if i add controls to the form manually.I thought the best idea would be add them dynamically and when user submits the form read the values and do the necessary.
Would any one suggest me how to do achieve ...

Hi Hilary,
thank you very much that you are taking your time to reply on my Q - which I actually thought was easy to solve...
I'm using IP 2010 on an Office 365 Plan E3 solution - also known as SharePoint Online with InfoPath Services.
The form is build as a browser enabled form since the users do not have IP2010 on their ...

Hello,
just an additional note. In the meantime I have experienced some more problems with the "June Cumulative Update Package" and the 'Forms Server'. For example in the 'External Item Picker' control you can´t use the function to check if an item exist and the 'People Picker' won´t work properly anymore.
So I ...

This seems like it would be correct. I guess the first things I'd check would be if the 2nd radio button's value when selected is actually "2".
I would expect to this validation to fire when the user selected the radio button that sets the OrdType field to 2 - if the SONumber field is blank.
If the SONumber field is ...

The cache is a common issue and it's good to see you tried that. You don't have to run the command line, though. You can just launch InfoPAth from start and remove the form in question there.
The other common issue with C# coded forms is trust. For domain trust forms with code make sure that all users have the ShP site added to their ...

Hi Ricky,
The reason you are able to send it is because your code doesn't check. If you get rid of the code and just use out-of-box rules and submit data connection, it will prevent submits if data is missing.
The File->Save event, on the other hand, allows saving even if the form has validation errors.
Remove the code. Add an ...

Sounds like the correct solution is to add two rows for it and not new columns (aka fields). You can setup your form to submit twice and create two records. SharePoint List forms are severely limited - they don't support repeating structures. If you want a repeating group, create the form in InfoPath as a blank form and publish it to a Forms ...

There are situations where InfoPath will not correctly suggest current() when selecting the main data source as a comparison in a filter on a secondary data source, but I've never heard of it removing them once added. Try to find a good set of steps that reproduce the problem and we'll investigate.

Hi JohnT and welcome,
Believe it or not, you have discovered some of the limitations inherent in InfoPath's out-of-box support for databases. Those "gaps" were the main reason we developed a generic Web Service back in 2004 for connecting to SQL. It's called DBXL and will allow you to add fields easily and roundtrip data types ...

Wow, so this is kind of fascinating.
First as to item 3 - the data fields are always going to be in a repeating group. You'll want to drag the /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:LU_EMPLOYEE group from the Main data source onto your form. You can set the repeating group properties so that the user can't insert more instances of the repeating ...
