InfoPath Filler only offers the 2-input dialog and not the hyperlink dialog you see in other Office products. What feature are you looking for exactly? Perhaps there is a workaround.

Hmmm interesting problem. You are correct that InfoPath will only allow promoting the field as a string instead of as a person type. So your filters on [me] won't exactly work. Depending on your scenario, could you use the Created By or Modified By fields that are auto populated by SharePoint? This might be alot more ...

Hi there,
First off, looks like your image isn't displaying correctly. But in any case, what you probably want is to change all of your dropdown and editable controls into Calculated Value controls instead. What sort of special formatting are you looking for? I believe functionality in the Header & Footer dialog in the Page Design tab is all InfoPath offers out of the box. Maybe custom code may help here...

You'll need the "double eval" trick to do this. Here is a thread that describes how to do this in more detail:

Good luck!

You can set the default value of your total field to be Box1 + Box2 + Box3. Just make sure that the refresh value checkbox is enabled and it should update as you change the values of the other fields.

Hi Vicki,
Option buttons sounds like the way to go for you. You can go into the properties of each option button to specify what value selecting each of them will write to the corresponding field. Then you can create a rule on the field that the option buttons are bound to that says something like if optionField = Error then set a ...
