Yes, Appraised Value in in the secondary data source. When the form loads, it is populated with system data from this source. I added the same rule to the form load.
When I tested it, instead of the Current Loan/AV% field being blank, it now has NaN populated within it. Any idea what NaN is or where it would come ...

Browser forms have a default connection timeout that can be set in Central Administration. The default on a new SharePoint installation is ten seconds.
InfoPath full-client forms have a default timeout of 30 seconds. It requires code to change the timeout, or you can use Qdabra qRules.

Is the Appraised Value field in a secondary data source?
When those initially load, they aren't considered "changed", so rules set on them don't fire. I'd add a rule to form load (if the data source loads when the form opens) to set the Current Appraised Value, or whereever else may be appropriate for your form's logic ...

In Central Administration, go into General Application Settings/Configure InfoPath Form Services and make sure you have 'Authenticate to data sources' enabled, and also cross-domain access if the data connection is different than the site where your form lives.

Hi - all you need to do is add another submit connection to your form that submits to your SharePoint library. Under your submit options, change the form to use rules. One rule submits the form to SQL, another to SharePoint. No code needed.

But when the form is generated and the Current Appraised Value field is populated by an another datasource, the Current Loan/AV% field is blank. If the user ...

The simplest way to tackle this problem, I think, is to have multiple dropdowns in your form. They are all hidden when the form loads. When the user selects a value for Country, then you can call the SharePoint list data connection for that country and show the content in the form. Does that sound reasonable?

Hi!
qRules commands cannot be used as Default Values, unfortunately. They need to be called as Rules somewhere in your form, whether it is a button, or a rule based on a field changing value, or on load.
Good luck!

I guess we should check:
1. That you're saving as an InfoPath 2007 Browser form
2. that you're choosing InfoPath 2007 when you inject.
Are both of those true?

Hi,
I have an InfoPath 2007 form where the user has to select a country and then based on this selection the same drop-down field appears, but the data source (for the content) is different - based on the country.
For instance:
Country= Germany, SP List=Germany
Country=UK, SP List=UK
once country is selected, the next drop-down uses the ...
