Hi Greg,
We have some threads in the Premium Downloads area http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=47) that may be helpful. We can also take a look at this problem. One of the most common problems is if you don't have msxml installed on the server. Did the MSI succeed?

Hi Fred and thanks for the post!
We have an Active Directory Web service that we sell to do this. It's just $19.95 and is one of our most popular tools.

Hi Fred,
We have a sample for this. I'll ask Jim or Shanthi to post.

Hi Skele and welcome to our forum,
I have no idea why it is putting it there. I will ask MS.

Hi Craig and welcome to our forum,
What kind of e-mail client do they have? In general, you are right. InfoPath needs Outlook on the client to send e-mail. However, you may be able to write some code in the form template to do an HTTP post or something. Another option would be a SharePoint event handler.

Hi absMing,
There's also the Smart Combo box control that we sell - check out Downloads->Free for an evaluation version.

Hi ZenLikeMe and welcome to our forum,
There are some scenarios where opening a new form is the right thing to do, but for sub-sections of your form, I would add sections that hide/show based on a condition, or like Franck suggests, switch to a different view. You can also look at the taskpane.

Hi TruSouthrnPlaya and welcome to our forum!
Open the form in the InfoPath designer and double click on the field that is giving you grief. Check out the validation conditions. If you can't fix from there, do what Franck says and add another binding. You can re-validate the new binding using a regular expression based on IP format.

Hi Qwer and welcome to our forum!
How much code do you have? I agree with Franck that converting to managed code is a good idea. VB.NET should do the trick.
