There's not much difference between submitting and updating, except for chaging the Cmd at the CAML mapping to Update, and having a drop ... Sometimes InfoPath rules get bugged and you may need to recreate it from scratch. Hope this helps. Regards, Posted to General (Forum) by donstephen on 04-04-2014 Re: Submit existing form fields to a sharepoint list Thank you for sending over your form. Now I see that the form you are using is a customized form. Please check this sample I am attaching for your reference. You will see that there are two buttons, one is for submitting a new entry, and the other for updating an existing data. You will also notice a FormLogic which I used for the loop approach ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by donstephen on 04-03-2014 Re: need button to launch URL and then close form Hi, This is probably one of InfoPath's limitations, out of the box? I don't think it's possible. However, I was able to read a blog somewhere which guides you to change the URL location after the form closes, but may probably be limited to one URL only, so you may need to right some code. But if you are working with non-browser ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 04-01-2014 Re: Infopath custom code to read/write Sharepoint online Hi Elena, There are several ways of submitting data to a SharePoint list, but I can't say which one is best since each have their advantages and disadvantages, which is probably what you would want to check first. The method I am familiar with is the CAML method which you can find here, or you may want to check out qRules' ... Have this boolean triggered by a certain condition or rule, and the use the fields for hiding and/or showing sections of a page. Would this approach work for you? Let me know if this helps. Have you tried reconnecting the SharePoint List Tool? Sometimes a quick system reboot also helps, or if not, you may want to try re-installing the tool (you can do this by dragging the SharePoint List Tool onto the form installer and select "No" in ... Also, since we're not on the same page yet, would it be possible for you to attach a sample? I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by donstephen on 03-31-2014 Re: Installed DBXL 2.8 When I go to access the links provided I get a Error Message 500 Hi Steve, Since this is a new installation, kindly try adding the site to the Local Intranet. If it doesn't work, would you be able to check the Event Viewer on the server and find the Qdabra log in the Application logs and see if there are any errors there? Thanks, Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by donstephen on 03-30-2014 Re: Submit existing form fields to a sharepoint list I see. So what you are attempting to do is copy the queried data onto the canvas and edit the items, is that correct? if so, then I think that it would be easier if you edited the queried data and then re-submit it to SharePoint. Is this not possible on your form? Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by donstephen on 03-30-2014 Page 44 of 62 (616 items) « First ... < Previous 42 43 44 45 46 Next > ...
