  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

well, how about creating two radio button fields, anyway you sum it all and that way it will not be visible to the filler and it wont duplicate your values in the below the radio buttons come from two fields, easy solution, not the neatness though

  • Web Service basics

I am trying to create a very basic form that will be published to SharePoint and will most likely only RECEIVE data from a MSSQL database. Authentication-wise, I would like the querying to be done by a single user, so I will not need to configure a GetUserProfile piece.  Could anyone here point me toward a good resource for getting ...

  • Re: An error occured accessing the data source

Thank you for the reply Patrick. I am completely clueless as far as creating a web service goes. At the end of last week I configured Microsoft Single Sign-On on my SharePoint farm. I edited my data connection file as mentioned in the article I linked above. Now I am at least getting an error on my MOSS WFE server. The following query ...

Hi Michal, The thought did cross my mind. This is a spreadsheet that is currently in use as part of a Release Management process, and I'm converting it in InfoPath to publish to Sharepoint. To give an example - If I ask the question "Did the vendor provide test results?", then the value allocated to the option "No" and ...

  • Re: Fill out one form and print 2 slightly different versions

I see. Your scenario is complex because you want to print 2 views on one button click. Unfortunately, I'm thinking this would require code, and I'm not 100% clear on whether it would work in the browser. The other option is that you add buttons to guide the users: 1. "Click here to display Print View 1." 2. Then the user ...

  • Re: Check Box Query

    Make the checkboxes have values of 0 (unchecked) and 1 (checked), then it's just a matter of creating a mathematical validation. If field1 + field2 + field3 + field4 > 2. I'm attaching a sample form. Hope this helps!

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Hi, I've got the following scenario and problem on InfoPath 2010. I'm creating a form with multiple questions, each question with between 3 and 5 option radio buttons which are grouped for the question. Each button gets assigned a value when selected, and then that value is multiplied with a specific weighting for the question, and ...

  • Check Box Query

Hi all, Im currently learning to use Info Path and have a query. I have 4 check boxes where a user will need to select 2 and no more. Is it possible to apply some validation or a rule to make sure that no more than 2 boxes can be selected? Many Thanks!
