I have a custom submit button on my form that I want users to click when they want to submit. If a user opens up a form and inputs data then closes the form by pressing [X] a messagebox is displayed asking them if they want to submit. Jimmy,  I have used round in default value. Default value -> Insert formula -> Insert Function -> round(). When i select field txtNum, i get function "round(.)".

There was a non-number placeholder that was messing things up.  Once this was removed records were able to be created.  Still doesn't sort correctly, but converting to number should fix this.  Thanks all!

deleted the form form the server. then able to delete the column. published old form with no reference to old column. fixed.

I have a custom SharePoint 2007 solution that utilizes an InfoPath document. I want to build a Site Content Type in SharePoint from the InfoPath fields, but don't want to hand type all the info in xml. Anyone know of a tool that I can use for this?

 When I get that error I normally simplify the formula to just the "now()" function to isolate the issue. Sometimes the problem is something else entirely.
