This is resolved. We deleted the Guid0 column, added it back (as GUID0) and updated the mapping.xml file accordingly. My guess is there was some issue with the Guid column.

Hi,
You just need to have a (hidden) field where you track the "currentStep".
So, when currentStep=0, you hide some sections and show others.
The rules increase currentStep to 1.
Which then allows you to hide some sections and show another.
And so on.
Does this make sense?

Yes, this is possible. Are you using an Active Directory web service? A custom one you wrote, or a 3rd party tool?

[quote user="RobSil1976"]If not what would the impact be on changing the DBXL identity?

Hi Robin,
There's no negative impact on SharePoint, and changing the DBXL identity has the advantage of allowing you to create the SharePoint mapping.
About the workaround you found, I would need to test it more thoroughly to ...

Hi-
First, you'll need to add the score options to the dropdowns, so that the users can select the desired score.
Then you can simply use a formula like this:
/my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_7/my:field146 + /my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_4/my:field147 + /my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_5/my:field148 etc
to get the total score.
I'm not ...

Hi Doreen,
DBXL is not typically used in this fashion (updating existing SQL data). However, DBXL could be used that way. It's not a scenario we encourage or recommend (we frankly try to avoid it), because of its complexity.
Since you are dealing with such advanced scenarios, I have opened a support ticket to get this request into the ...

No, there's no way to overwrite a form if the Filename changes.
If the filename exists, the data connection overwrites.
If the filename does not exist, a new record is created.
The solution is to define the Filename as something that won't change, and promote the Vender (which could change) as a promoted property instead.

Hi,
Can you provide more information? Is this a SharePoint form library form template? A SQL bound form?
Autonumbering is troublesome at times, but knowing more about your scenario will get you some accurate responses from the community.
Thanks!

Hi,
Here's a blog post from Microsoft that should help you start learning about this scenario.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2010/05/06/sharepoint-list-data-connections-in-infopath-2010.aspx
The bottom line is: you have a data connection to the SharePoint list and you set the queryFields filter before querying the data ...

Hi Robin,
The first thing to check is whether DBXL is installed on the SharePoint - 80 site. If it is, then let's check whether the DBXL app pool and the SharePoint - 80 app pool are using the same identity.
If everything looks ok for the above, then I would suggest sending us your form so we may try it on one of our servers. Let us know ...
