  • Re: Dynamic Controls

You can accompish this using a series of hide rules on each control. Create a rule on each control that says hide this control when the value of question is not equal to name.  If you're questions are dynamic based on the database, then you'll need to rely on custom code to accomplish this behavior.

  • Infopath 2010 - AutoSave on Submit

Not sure where to post this. I have created an Infopath 2010 Reservation form. The form is created for each day that a reservation can be made. On the form are 9 time slots. A user will select an open slot and add their name. On submit, the form emails to several places. The forms are saved in a Sharepoint 2010 library. The owner will ...

  • Validate Completed Fields

Currently we are using IP 2010 to create a form that is printed after completion.  In the future, we will be integrating with SharePoint once it is implemented throughout our organization.  Having said that, the users completing our form has many "Cannot Be Blank" fields and a couple of fields that must equal 100 or the form is ...

  • Re: Filter repeating table on value outside of table - get error.

Oh. My. Gosh. Thanks for posting this - I honestly thought that had to be some crazy coincidence. Can you tell me your version of SharePoint 2010 (any service packs or hotfixes installed)? I want to report this as a bug.

Hi, Steve - I'll have our customer support liason contact you about getting you a refund. For others who happen upon this thread, there are configuration steps in Office 365 to use browser forms with managed code - here's a link to a post by Jim Cantwell that explains this.

  • Re: Filter repeating table on value outside of table - get error.

That looks like it is indeed the problem.  I have a seperate test form that has the same table and rules.  When I add a calculated value above the table, the form will no longer publish.  This is good to know.  I worked around it by adding a text box to filter with (conditional formatting) and setting the text box with ...

  • Repeating table displaying in SharePoint list (2010)

Hi I have been asked to create a form that will populate a SharePoint list (I'm ok so far). It seems that because the submitter can enter a number of entries that a repeating table would be the best approach but I can find no way of displaying all of the table rows in the SP list, it only displays the first row. Maybe I am not going about ...
