The Header layout table (along with repeating tables) do pick up the color scheme but other layout tables and manually inserted layout tables do not. I had to implement color schemes in a very limited way for the first release of InfoPath. You will have to manually set the background shading and border color. This is made easier because the ...

Yes, go to Tools::Form Options. Then in the Open and Save tab there is a button to set Rules on open / onLoad. In there you can set a rule to query a data connection and then add other rules to set field values based on data you query.

InfoPath 2007 also enables laying out sections side by side. This would theoretically allow you to create a structure that looks like table columns only using sections that are placed next to each other. Then you can show/hide the sections as usual. This was not possible in InfoPath 2003 because sections were a block element and had to be on ...

Thanks

Unfortunately date calculations are not possible without code in InfoPath 2003. The following entry on the InfoPath team blog discussed the code involved.

In addition, without code a form user can insert a blank row then copy paste a single or multiple rows into that single blank row. The trick is how to select a row to copy it. The easiest way is to click in a field at the begining of the row then hold down SHIFT and click any other field in that row or in an adjacent row above or below. That ...
