Database connectivity in Full Trusted forms

Dear Friends,

Is it a must to use web services to achieve database connectivity in case of fully trusted forms(Registered) in case of Cross domain access?
or Will the data connections to data bases created using wizard sufficient???

If you have a full trust form then you will get no cross-domain prompts or limitations for database connections as well.
