Hi,
How to effectively design an InfoPath 2010 form?
I have a repeater control, which has around 27 columns. This makes the form large and scrollable.
In such scenario's, how should the repeater control be created?
Any design considerations to be taken into consideration while effectively designing browser enabled forms?Thank you

Yes it's, that's why i have mentioned that adding new form open regularly in the browser, and even opening the forms using direct link will, the problem is after making a custom view and adding group to this view.

I have double checked the submit url ( and ensured the "/forms/allitems.aspx" is removed) but still no joy.

A bit surprisingly, it seems that there just might be no way to obtain the URL of the current open document, even with code. There may have been some design decision behind that; I'm not sure.

<field2></field2>
<field3></field3>
</viewState>
Drag the secondary data source values ...

We implemented file support in qRules v3.4 for local file system and this should work for SharePoint as well. Plus there are commands to create and delete folders. Let me ask James Rishe to respond and confirm feasibility. More soon,

Thanks Anson for your reply but I have about 20 events now for that I may need to create 20 repeating tables. the number of events will increase after some time. this approach may cause performance issue for InfoPath form. So I was thinking to create these repeating tables dynamically whenever required on form.

Hi, I am experimenting with ways to display data on an Infopath form and have decided it might be best to concatenate multiple records into one field (not concatenating different fields together...I mean multiple rows). Although I have found some posts on these forums about double evals and concat functions...I thought I would just figure ...
