• Re: Open a new form Infopath Form in Browser on button click

Hi Rommel, qRules has a command called OpenUrlInBrowser, unfortunately it is not browser compatible. You will probably need to use code in order for this feature work on browser forms. I found a thread but haven't gotten any chance to try it out yet. I hope I'm able to point you toward the right direction.

  • Re: search inphopath forms from sharepoint libary

Hi Maya, The webinar link I provided you with is part of what you need in order to query a form from a SharePoint Library. The first thing you would need is a Library which you can easily create by publishing an InfoPath form to SharePoint, and promote the Form Name field which you will be using later on to concatenate with the hyperlnk. On the ...

  • Re: Unable to add field values

Hi TK, I'm glad that the solution works for you. Regarding date differences, please refer to this thread and check Jimmy's approach for calculating dates. However, due to the limitations of InfoPath, I would strongly recommend qRule's DateDiff command to account for business hours and holidays. As for prompt messages, the ...

  • Re: concat and substring formula - combined?

Hi, I have a formula here which uses only one text field for the first and last name. If you are using a separate field, kindly replace the formula for the 2nd concat value (last name) to the proper one. concat(substring(field1, 1, 1), substring(field1, string-length(field1) - 3, 4)) where substring(field1, string-length(field1) - 3, 4)) ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2007 view submitting

Hi Matt, I'm not sure of how your form is set up, but you can use a hidden field for setting your fields and controls to read only/disabled. When this hidden field has the value of let's say for example ReadOnly, then set conditions on formatting rules to set them as disabled. This appraoch is a bit tedious, but should enable your ...

  • Re: search inphopath forms from sharepoint libary

Hi Maya, Querying items from different Sharepoint Libraries will require having different data connections for each of these libraries. We have a previous webinar which shows how Secondary Data connecions and Filters work. I believe that the examples whon on the video were SharePoint lists, but the appraoch should be similar if you want to query ...

  • Re: Unable to add field values

Hi, I was able to check y our form and noticed that you weren't using a sum(field1) when adding the total sum of a repeating data. Further tests shows that the checkbox isn't refreshing the total sum value. The workaround is going to be a bit tedious so I would suggest using a calculate button that would add all the values. Your ...

  • Re: Searching in the Rule Inspector

Hi Kevin, I don't think that this is possible with InfoPath alone, but I was able to read somewhere that printing the Rule Inspector content to OneNote, makes all of the text searchable. I haven't personally tried this yet. but hoping that I was able to point you toward the right direction.

  • Re: Qdabra Submit to SPList - Multiple Selection List box fields

Hi, I understand that you are attempting to submit repeating values using a MSLB control. When mapping a repeating field, you mast select this field as the repeating group, and instead of selecting the field when mapping to your list, enter a dot (.) for the value. It should look similar to this: And if you are receiving blank ...

  • Re: Sharepoint & Infopath 2013 - Change view by Role

Hi, I believe that the User Profile Service still works for SharePoint 2013 and it should be able to the current user's information and you could use that to hide/show sections and/or switch views. However, you may encounter some issues with SharePoint 2013 so I am recommending this webinar hosted by Hilary. Hope this helps. Regards,
