Hi Kevin,
I am suspecting that the items for field A are also queried therefore refreshing the value for field A when changes occur to field B. If so, then you might need to add another query data connection specifically for field B so that it won't interfere with the previous item. Please let me know if this approach works for you, if ...

Hi Ander2cc,
I believe that there is a way to remove the time at the Designer. Could you try setting the current item type as a Date and not as a string? Please let me know helps.

Hi Karen,
I am attaching a simple form which shows how frequent an item has been selected. If you check on the calculated box's formula, it uses a sum formula which I then divided to itself so that each selection would only count as 1 and not the total sum.
sum(Answer[. = "3"]) / 3
I'm not sure if this approach will work for ...

Hi Matthias,
Sometimes values do not re-calculate itself and would need to add more logic and use a hidden field. Could you try adding a hidden field, with an action that sets another field's value (to any value you desire). Set this hidden field to the value of the people picker's account ID (assuming that the user can only select 1 ...

Hi Pallavid,
Out of the box, I don't think that this is possible. You may probably need to modify the coding of the ribbonXML in order to hide it. I haven't seen any positive feedbacks from related threads, but I hope I'm able to point you toward the right direction.

Hi Screech,
I understand that you would like to populate the people picker's AccountID field for the Manager after a certain project has been selected. Unfortunately I can't think of any web service which looks up a user's info using PreferredName. Would it be possible for you to create a dynamic list which will ...

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to InfoPathDev.
I don't have any idea yet on how you are querying your SQL database but here is a link on a short blog for the list of options you can take when querying SQL Data from InfoPath Forms (How-to links provided):

Hi Greentea,
I understand that you would like to disable some selections from a Multiple-Selection List Box control, and unfortunately I don't think that this possible out of the box. From a blog post by Greg Collins, he was able to achieve hiding check boxes, which is quite similar to disabling controls, by manually ...
