Comparing People Picker ande Current User

    Hello guys,

I have a strange problem. I try to compare the value of a people picker field with a current User value AccountID=Value[Name=AccountName].

This is wrorking to hide a section or disable a field, but when I want to set a value to a field it doesn't work at all! Do you know where the problem is?

    Best regards

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

Sometimes values do not re-calculate itself and would need to add more logic and use a hidden field. Could you try adding a hidden field, with an action that sets another field's value (to any value you desire). Set this hidden field to the value of the people picker's account ID (assuming that the user can only select 1 person), and add the condition to the rule that the action should only run if the hidden field is not blank and the hidden field is equal to the current user. If this doesn't work, please attach a sample of your form so I could run some quick tests on what isn't working for you.

Thank you very much, but nevertheless it didn't work. I tried to compare a the value of my field and then value in my people picker field. If they are equal is should be set to 1 and if they are unequal to 0, but the rule didn't change any value.

    I hope for your help!
