Weird. I haven't played around with the IP2007 OM enough to know what's going wrong, but why are you doing this:
XPathNavigator servername = Serversiter.Current.Clone();
servers.SelectSingleNode(''my:field132'', this.NamespaceManager).SetValue(servername.Value.ToString());
Couldn't it just be this:
servers.SelectSingleNode(''my:field132'', ...

Hey Jay,
No worries. Can you send me a screenshot (or better yet, post one on the forum) of the Data Source taskpane with the appropriate DOM displayed? With this I can give you a better explanation.

Hi David and welcome to our forums!
It seems you have hit the biggest limitation in InfoPath. This problem can be solved, but it is very complicated. The very first HowTo I wrote for this site actually specifies how to do it in InfoPath 2003 with JScript, so hopefully you can take the concepts presented there and make it work in your ...

Hi Robert and welcome to our forums!
It's cool that you're using managed code in IP2007 - I must confess that I have not done much of this myself. I didn't test this, but I think I see your problem. You're only cloning the 'servers' variable once. So in the loop only the very first 'parent.AppendChild(servers)' will change the DOM. Each ...

Hi Vidette,
The easiest way to do this is to add a connection to that table in the database as a secondary DOM connection and then make a UserName and Password node on another XML-based secondary DOM. AFter this add a button that see if the name/pwd combo exists in the secondary DOM and then if so, switches views.
However, this will be brutally ...

Hi Tom,
Here are some examples of how to do it in the OnLoad event. I don't think there is any way to loop through the rows in rules.
IXMLDOMNodeList nodes = thisXDocument.DOM.selectNodes(''/XPath/To/Nodes'');
foreach (IXMLDOMNode node in nodes)
{
//perform operations on node, such as moving to a different ...

Yeah, the XSLs behind the views can get corrupted sometimes. I wouldn't say rebuild the entire form, but just that view.

Hi Jay,
The XPath you listed is invalid, regardless of how your database is setup. You are trying to get the attribute (specifed by the @symbol) of an attribute, which is impossible.
To help you construct your XPath you should open the Data Source task pane, and then select your data source from the drop down. After this, expand the groups ...

Hi Brian,
Could you send the actual error messages you are getting? You might be looking for the very first step ''From the Main Toolbar, select Tools | Programming | Loading Event'', but that would seem to obvious. These blog posts are usually pretty well written so if you follow all instructions you should be able to get it to work.
Another ...

Hi Yashvir,
If the OnLoad is not being called for the form and you need it to be, then you should be able to simply call it yourself from the other form.
From what I understand it you simply took the FormCode.cs file from another form and included it as a resource file in a new form. If so, this new form will not call OnLoad or any of the other ...
