It would help me a lot if you could tell me what part of my instructions you don't understand. Do you know how to republish the form templates (xsn files) to the new libraries? Do you know how to update the data connections? In your screenshots, you have a lot of files (xml) in your libraries - once you have published your form templates to ...

Thanks Hilary. That worked great!

You'd need to create another form in InfoPath - just open InfoPath designer and select New > Blank Form. Add a data connection to your list of materials. You could either use a multiple select bound to the main data source to allow them to select materials, or you can drag the repeating node from your data connection onto your form and ...

Hmmmm. So - does the request from need to update the list at all? I mean - I would think even that could be done via workflow, if there is a one-to-one relationship between requests and periodicals (i.e., user can only select a single periodical per request) - can you maybe provide a bit more info on what you need to build? :)

Well - you can't do this with a button out of the box, but you could go to the Insert tab, and insert a hyperlink (not a hyperlink control, but an actual hyperlink)... you can set the text to "Click here" or whatever, and the link to the URL. Is the email sent from the form? Or from SharePoint workflow?

No - I was thinking maybe create a calculated column in your library and then group by that? I'm not 100% on whether we can group by a calculated column in a SharePoint view, but it seems worth a try....
