Hi Pam and welcome,
Thanks for working so hard to figure this out. If you have your People/Group pickers in a repeating table already, you could just use xsl:sort or qRules to sort the table in InfoPath.
That will save you a bunch of time and you don't have to worry about promoting repeating values.
To answer your question, though, you ...

Hi RoccoNH1,
Switching to view before close won't cause the form to show that view on the next open (since that is a separate form instance).
Just add a Status field and set that field instead. Then, add an Form Load rule (under the Data tab) that checks the value of that status field and switches to the view.

Hi Michael and welcome,
You could create a separate view and switch to that view when they open the form (add an on load rule) and that view can be parked as Read Only (ShP 2010/2013 feature) and that would prevent removal of the digisig and editing of the other fields.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting the workaround. :)

Hi JSmithicus1 and welcome,
Here's an easy workaround. Put everything in one view. Separate pages are in separate "sections". Add formatting rules to each section to hide it if it's not supposed to be visible (or if it's not the print mode). In print mode, all are visible. The signature appears at the bottom and is for the ...

There's an xd:preserve tag that you can use to prevent the designer from parsing XSL and changing it. I recommend searching for xd:preserve.
For example: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/greg/archive/2005/03/25/Preserve-Code-Blocks-_2800_xd_3A00_preserve_2900_-and-Input-Tags.aspx

Hi Clair,
You can pass information to the InfoPath feedback form via another web part. If you click modify page the web part dropdown will give you an option to connect to other web parts. This, however, requires some sort of button in an other web part that sends information. You could have a button called "Feedback Form" and that ...
