Hi - I'd probably use an XML secondary data source with a field called "ShowHelp" in it. I'd have an action on the button to set ShowHelp to true. I'd have my help text in a section or calculated field, with conditional formatting to hide unless ShowHelp is equal to true. Then the user could click the button to show the help ...

You probably need to add the action in the submit rules, not on the button rules. Are you in InfoPath 2010? From the Ribbon, under Data, in the Rules group, you'll find Form Submit rules.

Well, I think what you may not be understanding is current(). Where is your calculated value located? Is it in a section bound to the same field that is bound to the dropdown? I'm thinking probably not... so I'd expect something perhaps more ...

Is your mapping to group2? That is, are you submitting all the data in group2 to your list?
If so, the relative path would be my:File_Attachment/my:field2 - it would need to be relative to group2.

This is the xpath to my files (field2) is /my:myFields/my:SupportDocumentation/my:group2/my:File_Attachment/my:field2). My form submits but no file attachments appear in the list. If /my:FileAttachment is the repeating node, would the ...

I set a formatting rule in the calculated value field I use for the total in a repeating table to hide the field if the sum of the column is zero. This works fine if the values typed into the table are zero, but if the field is simply blank, then the total still displays as zero.
I want to suppress the display of the total when it is ...

My problem with having the MSLB pull from the SharePoint list directly is that this ...
